A trail of gold
A small golden star follows the cursor on every page, leaving a soft trail of gold and salmon dust that keeps sparkling even when you pause. On phones it bursts wherever you touch the screen.
The unfolding loader
When a visitor first arrives, and whenever she steps through a door to another page, a mandala draws itself in gold and salmon.
Ambient sound
A warm drone, a breath of wind and singing-bowl tones, generated live by the browser. It never plays until the visitor chooses it.
All three respect the visitor’s “reduce motion” setting, and the sound pauses when the tab is hidden.
